These pieces are in effect a remix project. All paintings and shapes are taken from full color silkscreen pieces and recomposed into minimal color compositions. Sampling only from pieces I’ve created before, the process of rearranging familiar shapes and compositions brings a type of challenge to reconstruct a new composition.
These pieces are hyper-layered, silkscreened on plexi-glass and slightly offset. This takes the flat nature of the grayscale art by literally giving it dimensions.
