book of photo and repetition
Thousands Win Instantly
This photo book, published in 2008 was my first photo based works.
It’s about time and the space created: A pattern develops in someone’s life when events, themes or experiences are repeated. I explored taking photos seconds apart and repeating or mirroring them to create a scene, while impossible in real life- often quite similar to the experience.
Most of these photos were taken in Seattle and England, with a focus on people or structure. This book was one step away from my stop motion video work, so the fascination with time and photography is an obvious precursor. The book is 8.5×8.5 and can be purchased here.
