Ok, I’m not a real photographer, mostly just pretend. But I do enjoy taking photos and the process really inspires all my other art. So this was post purchase a crazy zoom lens and a 2 week camping trip in Botswana. All back country, saw so many incredible animals, it was humbling, inspiring and beautiful.
The wild dogs were my favorite, really incredible social system and pack first mentality. They’re incredible communicators, hunters and the were a joy to watch. The dogs are one of the most effective hunters of all the animals pictured here, they regurgitate their food for other adults who have stayed behind to guard the den and they’re matriarchal.
