I’m a climber and I spend time traveling around the US teaching and certifying people to become climbing instructors with the American Mountain Guide Association. It was fun to merge my two worlds, art and climbing, with these drawings which are communicating essential technical skills for aspects of climbing. Because these skills have a huge bearing on the security of a climber, it’s important they’re well communicated.
The drawings style were inspired by technical manuals from Petzl, a climbing brand.
